33 more covid-19 patients have died, bringing the death toll in the Republic to 320.

Locally in the Northern Sound Region the latest data shows 169 confirmed cases in Cavan, and 81 in Monaghan.
While in the Shannonside Region Longford has the highest number of cases confirmed at 45, with Leitrim on 31, and Roscommon with 27 cases.
Health Minister Simon Harris says after the German lab has cleared a backlog of up to 15-thousand tests, the next step will be to extend the testing criteria.
