Day care services in the Shannonside Northern Sound region are making final preparations for the re-opening of centres.
A number of facilities have been given the go-ahead to older people back to their centres for day time activities and meals.
They've had to comply with a host of regulations including proving extra transport, establishing pods and facilitating low-risk activities such as art or bingo.

Catherine McGrath is Manager of Elphin Day Care, she says there's huge excitement to be seeing everyone again:
