A Leitrim Councillor is calling on the Minister for Finance to scrap plans to increase fuel prices from next month.
There has already been two price hikes so far this year which has seen an overall increase of 8c per litre for petrol and 6c per litre for diesel.
Sinn Féin Councillor Cormac Flynn brought a motion forward at last Monday's Leitrim County Council meeting about the issue.
