Clinics are operating across the region this weekend.

The HSE is appealing to unvaccinated or partially vaccinated people across the Shannonside Northern Sound to avail of walk-in centres over the coming days.

Clinics are operating at Kilbride Community Centre in Roscommon and the Glencarn hotel in Monaghan on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

In Cavan, vaccines will be offered in the Hotel Kilmore on Monday.

Clinics will be open in the GAA centre in Newtownforbes in Longford and in Carrick on Shannon's Primary Care centre on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

People from any county can attend for a vaccine through the walk in service, which is also available to over the 12s, if they are accompanied by an adult.

Speaking on Let's Talk this afternoon, Marie Corbett Director of Nursing with the Saolta Hosptial Group, says it's important to protect as many people as possible especially as restrictions ease.
