Adult respite provided by St. Christopher's Service in Longford Town has been found to be fully compliant in all areas of care following a short notice inspection of their facilities.
Adult Respite Service is a full-time residential service currently providing temporary accommodation to four adults with intellectual disabilities in two separate locations in Longford.
An inspection in November last year examined the buildings and care provided by staff in areas such as training and staff development, risk management procedures and positive behavioural support.
The St. Christopher's Service was found to be compliant and substantially compliant in all areas assessed by the inspector.
The report highlighted minor issues within the risk management process, with management addressing them in response the findings.
