Father of children found dead at house in Dublin says “every breath is a struggle”

The father of the three children who were found dead in Dublin last week says “every breath is a struggle.”

Andrew McGinley has released a statement saying “there are no words – there is only devastation, grief and anguish.”

He has urged all parents, to “cuddle your children whenever you get a chance, tell them how much you love them as often as you can.”

The bodies of 9-year-old Conor, 7-year-old Darragh, and 3-year-old Carla were discovered in a house in Newcastle on Friday evening.

Gardaí are still waiting for permission to interview their mother – who remains in hospital in a stable condition.
