A third man died later from his injuries.

The fatal collision occurred on the N63, the main road between Roscommon and Galway yesterday afternoon between 12.20pm and 1.00pm

Gardai are appealing for witnesses.

A Longford man in his 70's died in the crash and Gardaí are looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the crash.

The crash occurred along the old Athlone to Moate road near Killogeenaghan and it's expected the road will remain closed until 3pm this afternoon.

There were approximately 20 passengers on board the bus at the time of the incident.
