The chief medical officer says a 'worrying trend' of new clusters of Covid-19 is developing in Ireland.

No new deaths linked to the virus have been reported to public health doctors today.

But 24 people have tested positive in the Republic - bringing the total to 24,462.

The number of cases in Roscommon is unchanged at 345, but in Longford, there has been an increase of one to bring its total to 286.

leitrim's cases are unchanged at 78.
