Local Gardaí investigating the alleged assault in the Ashdale area of Athlone town arrested a man in his 20s this week.

Minister for Education, Norma Foley congratulated the school by saying the school showed great creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm for languages.

In an official statement, the club say that in the early hours of yesterday, electrical equipment with an estimated value of €3,000 was stolen from the stadium.

The funding provides higher education institutions with the flexibility to determine how best sustainability can be secured across their campuses, taking advantage of the strengths of individual campuses.

The application has been submitted by Aidan Kelly and calls for the development to be progressed at Barrymore, Kiltoom in Roscommon.

Iarnród Éireann recently submitted an application for new facilities at Athlone train station.

He also has plans to introduce a comedy club element in the Dean Crowe bar among other innovations.

Longford, Mullingar and Athlone have been identified as primary hubs in the roll out, with Roscommon and Ballinasloe selected as secondary hubs.
