65 suspected cases of Coronavirus tested in Ireland

Sixty five suspected cases of coronavirus have been tested in Ireland.

The coronavirus, which has been renamed Covid-19, has claimed over a thousand lives worldwide and infected almost forty five thousand people.

In a statement, the National Public Health Emergency Team claimed there are no confirmed cases in the country.


According to them, it can reportedly take up to 14 days for symptoms of Covid-19 to show, and symptoms may include a cough, shortness of breath, breathing difficulties and high temperature.

People are advised to regularly wash hands with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand rub.
