Willie Carney passed away on Wednesday, 24th May, 2023, suddenly, in his ninety-sixth year, at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe.

Predeceased by his parents John and Agnes, brother John Joe, sisters Mary and Bridget (Garvey).

Willie will be very sadly missed by his loving sister Teresa, niece, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, good neighbours and his many friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing at Brady’s Funeral Home, Elphin on Friday evening (May 26th) from 6pm to 7.30pm followed by removal to St. Catherine's Church, Killina (arriving at 8pm). Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am. Willie will be laid to rest afterwards in Killina Cemetery.

The Carney family are grateful for your prayers and support at this sad time.
