Tess Kearney (née Leydon) passed away on Thursday, January 26th, 2023, peacefully, in the devoted care of the staff at Oakwood Nursing Home, Roscommon.
Dearly loved wife and best friend of her late husband Paddy.
Cherished mother of Joseph (Limerick), David and Kenneth (Roscommon). Adored grandmother to her grandchildren Niall, Aoife, Lisa, Mark, Ella and Isa. Sadly missed by her brother Seán Leydon, her sisters-in-law Ríona Leydon and Ena Scott, daughters-in-law Catherine, Mary and Sinéad, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

Reposing at Smyths Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Friday evening from 6.30 o’c until 8 o’c. Removal from the home of her son and daughter-in-law, David and Mary in Sleaveen, Roscommon on Saturday at 12.30 o’c to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 1 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Irish Wheelchair Association.
