Almost four hundred thousand euro in home energy grants were distributed to households in the Shannonside region.
According to the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, the funding was split between a total of two hundred and sixty three houses in Longford, Leitrim and Roscommon.
Roscommon households received the most money at one hundred and seventy thousand euro, while Longford was allocated one hundred and forty three thousand five hundred euro.
Leitrim received the least amount of money nationwide, with sixty three thousand four hundred and fifty euro allocated for home energy grants.
Eighty four million euro went towards almost twenty five thousand home energy upgrades, including almost four thousand vulnerable energy-poor homes, which were upgraded free of charge.
One thousand eight hundred and twenty seven solar systems were installed, along with over a hundred deep energy retrofits.
