Michael (Sonny) Cronin died on Saturday January 15th peacefully in the devoted care of the staff at Portiuncula University Hospital. Michael was in his 98th year.
Beloved husband of the late Margaret and brother of the late Margaret O’Rourke (Mullingar). He will be very sadly missed by his son Padraic, daughters; Marie, Vera and Josephine, sons-in-law Padraic, Gerry and Tommy, nephews, nieces, grandchildren; Alan, Kevin, Brian, Niall, Claire, Laura, Margaret, Marie, Cathal, Eoin and Sean, great-grandchildren Evie, Ronan, and Murray, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
May Sonny rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Sunday evening from 4 o’clock until 6 o’clock (in accordance with guidelines, this will be walk through only please). Removal afterwards to St Patrick’s Church, Knockcroghery arriving at 6.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in Gailey Cemetery.
