Johnny Shannon died on Sunday, November 19th, 2023 (peacefully) at the Roscommon Hospice
loving husband of Patricia, and dear father of Peter (Carane) and Bernadette (Farrell, Ballymacurley). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife, his son and daughter, his adored grandchildren; Eileen, Raymond, John, Áine, Patsy, James, Maire, Anthony and Peter, daughter-in-law Geraldine, son-in-law Brian. Also, sisters-in-law Mary Rudden, Julia Walsh, Cecelia McLoughlin and Attracta O’Sullivan. Nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home Castlerea, this evening (Mon) from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock with removal at 7:15pm to Ballinaheglish Church (arriving approx 8pm). Funeral Mass tomorrow morning (Tues) at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in Ballintubber Cemetery. Johnny’s Funeral Mass will be live-streamed and can be viewed on www.mcdonaghfuneraldirectors.ie/live-stream
