Suddenly but peacefully on the 19th of May 2023
Predeceased by his daughter Maisie.
Derek will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his heartbroken and loving wife Joan, treasured daughters Maddie and Allie, his parents John and Anne, sisters Michelle and Sharon, father-in-law Jimmy , sisters-in law Caroline, Aoife, Catriona and Elaine, brothers-in-law Dave and Robert, aunts, uncles , nieces, nephews, cousins and his wide circle of many dear friends.
Your memory is my keepsake,
with which we’ll never part.
God has you in his keeping,
I have you in my heart.
May Derek rest in peace.
Reposing at his residence (N39 C890) on Saturday (27th May) from 2.00pm until 6.00pm . Mass of the Resurrection on Sunday (28th May) at 1.00pm in Our Lady of Lourdes Church , Abbeyshrule . Interment afterwards in Abbeyshrule cemetery.
Please note there will be a one way system in operation for those attending Derek’s house , please follow the directions of the stewards.
Please note the family home is strictly private outside of the reposing times.
