John James (Johnny) O’Brien died on Tuesday 24th January. Peacefully, after a short illness, at Our Lady’s Community Hospital, Manorhamilton.
Predeceased by his father Michael and mother Kathleen. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family, brothers; Tom and Micheál, sisters-in-law; Mary and Marie, nephews; Alan, Fergal & Colm, nieces-in-law; Aishling & Carina, uncle Tom Regan and his wife, Margaret (Effrinagh), aunts; Julia Creamer (Drumshanbo), and Chris (and Jim) Lynch (England), aunts-in-law Mary Ellen Regan, Drumsna and Mary Teresa Regan, Leitrim Village, grand-niece Gráinne, grandnephews; Miguel and Donnacha, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at the home of his nephew Alan and niece-in-law Aishling, Finisklin on Thursday 26th January from 4pm-6pm with removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Gowel arriving at 7pm. (A shuttle bus service to the house will be provided from St. Patrick’s Church, Gowel, N41HX83 from 4pm-6pm). House private at other times please. Funeral Mass on Friday 27th January at 12 noon. Burial immediately afterwards in Jamestown Cemetery. Family flowers only.
