All areas are air conditioned, comfortably furnished and equipped with top level sound recording facilities. A Diploma course in Media Techniques (Communications) and a Certificate course in Foundation Broadcasting are both available here at the Academy. We also provide night classes throughout the year. What makes our Academy unique is the fact that we are based 'on-site'  in a radio station, with exclusive access to both Broadcast and Editing Studios. Our tutors are completely emersed in every aspect of broadcast radio and duly impart this vast experience via the courses provided here in the Northern Sound Region.   Training Unit Features: Training centre with capacity for 20 people. 1 on-air studio and 1 news booth with edit facilities. 6 in-house post production pods for broadcast training with internet access, editing facilities and jukebox listing.
