Tipp and Galway prevail in semi-finals and Antrim win 16th title in a row

Tipperary and Galway will meet in the Allianz Hurling League Division 1 final.

All-Ireland champions Tipp beat Wexford by 5-18 to 1-19 in their semi-final at Nowlan Park.
Brothers, John and Noel McGrath, netted two goals each while Brendan Maher also hit the back of the net for Tipperary. Liam Ryan fired home a goal in the 73rd minute for Wexford.
Elsewhere, Conor Cooney scored 1-4 for Galway as they beat Limerick by 1-21 to 1-11 in their semi-final at the Gaelic Grounds. Joe Canning also notched eight points for Galway, who advance to their first final since 2010.

Antrim claimed a 16th Ulster Hurling Championship title in a row.They beat Armagh by 5-22 to 1-12 in the final in Owenbeg. Conor Johnston helped himself to a hat-trick of goals for the winners while Paul Shiels and Neil McManus also got in on the goal scoring act. Fiachra Bradley raised a green flag for the Orchard County but they trailed by 1-2 to 3-16 at the halfway stage and Antrim prevailed to win the Liam Harvey.

Elsewhere Derry came away from Carrickmore with the Ulster SH Shield in their possession following a 1-17 to 1-12 final win over Tyrone.
