There were five quality horses vying for the King George VI at Kempton Park including two of Colin Tizzard’s star horses, Cue Card and Thistlecrack going head to head, while Silvianiaco Conti who won the race in both 2013 and 2014, along with Tea for Two and Josses Hill completing the line-up.

Tizzard who enjoyed the triumph of winning the King George VI last year with Cue Card again tasted the sweet scent of success today for the second year running, however, it was Thistlecrack ridden by Tom Scudamore who romped to victory for Tizzard, with last year’s winner Cue Card having to settle for second place.
