Shamrock Rovers are set to unveil their most significant new addition in what has already been a busy transfer market of spending for them.
A press conference will take place at 1pm this afternoon at Tallaght Stadium, where Rovers are expected to unveil Ronan Finn as their latest signing. The move was first reported by the Irish Sun
Finn, who was a Premier Division winner during his previous spell at Rovers, departed Tallaght for Dundalk in 2014. The 28-year-old has been a key player for the Lilywhites in the meantime but his contract expired at the end of the 2016 season.
Finn impressed throughout this year, during which he helped Dundalk to win their third consecutive Premier Division title. The Dubliner started in 11 of their 12 games in the Champions League and Europa League this season. His campaign concluded with a man-of-the-match display in the FAI Cup final defeat to Cork City.
