Roscommon and Mayo play out draw in All Ireland quarter final

Roscommon and Mayo will need a second day out to separate them after a draw in Croke Park in their fascinating All Ireland quarter final clash in Croke Park this afternoon. It finished Roscommon 2-09 Mayo 1-12.

Roscommons Fintan Cregg finished to the net with a great goal in the 9th minute as described live on Sunday Sport on Shannonside FM by match commentator Willie Hegarty.

This was followed three minutes later with Roscommons Ciaran Murtagh followed by Mayos Lee Keegan getting in on the goalscoring act. Willie Hegarty and former Roscommon Frankie Dolan brought the action to Shannonside FM of both goals as it was happening at a frenetic pace.

Mayo led by 1-08 to 2-03 at the half time interval.
