Roscommon will meet Tyrone in the All Ireland Under 17 Football Final after a superb four point win over Kerry in today’s semi-final in Ennis. It finished Roscommon 2-15 Kerry 1-13 with Carey and Gilhooley getting the goals for Liam Tullys side.
The final will take place on the 27th of August at 12 oclock in a Croke Park triple header with the minor and senior semi finals. Shannonside FM provided live commentary on the encounter with Willie Hegarty and David O’Connor heres the first Roscommon goal.

Roscommon were never behind in the game and they led by 1-6 to 1-5 lead at the break. Padraig Pearses Paul Carey scored 1-6 and Roscommon Gaels Peter Gilhooley scored 1-05 as the impressive Connacht Champions march onto the inaugrual All Ireland Under 17 Final.
