RDFL Challenge Cup round 3 draw

The draw was made for round 3 of the RDFL Challenge Cup with some interesting ties to look forward to. One fixture that stands out is the meeting of Ballinasloe Town and Ballinasloe Town B. Both sets of managers and players will know everything that needs to be known so it will make for an intriguing contest.

Shiven Rovers and Ballymoe FC is a tie with great potential, too strong teams, Ballymoe might go in as favourites but cup competitions don’t always play by the scripts and if any team can give Ballymoe problems it’s this Shiven side.

Dysart might be a division below Moore United but it’s a game they won’t fear. Their form in Division 1 this season has been brilliant and confidence will be high.

St.John Athletic against fellow Premier side Brazukas should be a tight affair and if Skyvalley Rovers can get in the faces of Castlerea that should be another Premier Division game capable of throwing up a close game.

The teams have two weeks to prepare for these games so plenty of time for preparation and possible injury returns that might be an issue
