Roscommon champions Michael Glaveys booked their place in the Connacht Intermediate final with a 0-19 to 1-15 win over Bohola Moy Davitts in Evelrys McHale Park.
Andrew Glennon kicked eight points as they marched on. The Mayo side were able to keep in the game but missed a couple of chances late on and Ian Dalys side progressed. Michael Glaveys will now face ClareGalway on the 19thof November in the final.
After the game the winning manager Ian Daly caught up with Willie Hegarty.
Elsewhere in GAA The Munster final and Leinster semi-final pairings are now known after today’s provincial club hurling championship games.
In Munster, Ballygunner of Waterford booked their place in the final with a hard fought 1-18 to 1-17 win over Clare champions Sixmilebridge.
Awaiting them in the decider are Limerick champions Na Piarsaigh after they hammered Blackrock by 2-26 to 10 points.
In Leinster Cuala remain in the hunt for back-to-back titles after a 2-20 to 1-16 victory over Dicksboro of Kilkenny.
They next play Saint Martins of Kilkenny in the semi-finals.
The other last four tie will see Kilcormac-Killoughey take on Mount Leinster Rangers after they beat Castletown Geoghegan and Camross respectively.
