Higgins to concentrate exclusively on Club Commitments

The Roscommon senior management team have confirmed to Shannonside Sport this week that Western Gales, Kevin Higgin’s has departed the senior football panel. Higgins has struggled with various injuries all season and has found it difficult to combine inter-county and club commitments.  As a result the player has taken the decision to concentrate solely with his Club in order to return to full fitness. It is expected that Higgins who featured in a number of Allianz league games this season could return to the Roscommon panel at a later date.

Roscommon will play either London or Leitirm in the Connacht Senior football Championship semi-final on June 18th.
