Exciting senior semi final Double Header in Doctor Hyde Park

We are down to the final four in the Hodson Bay Hotel Roscommon Senior football semi-finals with a double header being staged in Doctor Hyde Park on Sunday.

Boyle will take on Roscommon Gaels at 2pm. The Gaels were defeated by 25 points by Saint Brigids in their last group game and they’ll be hoping to rediscover their form for the semi final.   The Roscommon Gaels manager Liam McNeill has been previewing the match in the company of Shannonside Northern Sounds Kevin McDermott. The Gaels manager says that their 25 point defeat to Saint Brigids in their last group was a set back but they’ll regroup for Sundays knock out clash. He says that the semi finals are exactly where they want to be and he acknowledged that Boyle are the form team of the championship.

Defending champions Saint Brigids will take on Western Gaels in the second of the Hudson Bay Hotel Roscommon senior football championship semi finals. Western Gaels manager Gerry Nolan has been looking forward to the showdown in Doctor Hyde Park and he starts by explain that their form has been up and down this season. He says that they scored 5 goals in their win over Clann Na Ngael but he’s not expecting to get that many goals again.he’s been discussing his injury concerns and he says its going to be an open game of football
