Today will see a rematch between Monaghan and Down in Round 4B of the All Ireland football qualifers with a place in the quarter finals at stake. Monaghan suffered a defeat at the hands of Down in the Ulster semi final, and they will have an opportunity to gain revenge on the Mourne county today.
Since the Down loss they’ve bounced back with wins over Wexford and Carlow while Down were beaten by Tyrone in the Ulster final.
