It’ll be Clontibret versus Scotstown in the county final this Sunday.

Scotstown are into a fourth county final in a row having won it in 2013 before losing out to Clontibret in 2014 but getting back to winning ways in 2015.

Manager Mattie Mc Gleenan, team liason officer Kevin Connolly and captain Donal Morgan all chatted to Sean Mc Caffrey about this years championship and Donal remarked from the outset that obviously loosing in round 2 of the competition was not in the plan but when it happened they just had to carry on..

Clontibret  caused an upset in 2014 when their 1 point victory in the final denied Scotstown back to back titles, they however fell at the semi final hurdle last year going down to Monaghan Harps.

Manager Cathal Carragher, captain Vincent Corey and club chairperson Aidan Deighan joined Sean Mc Caffrey to look forward to the final this weekend and having come off with what appeared to be a serious injury in the semi final win over Magheracloone Vincent explained more of what happened to him and how he was now fully recovered..
