The latest fixture list for the Longford and District Schoolboys and Schoolgirls Soccer League has been unveiled with matches from under 12 up to under 17 down for decision this coming Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, January 21st , there are five games scheduled in the Under 13 League Major Division. At 11am, UCL Harps take on Ardagh United on the top pitch in Abbeycartron, and Castlepollard Celtic host Stonepark in Castlepollard. At 11-30am, Abbey Rovers host Newtown AFC in Ballinamore, and at 12-30pm, there are two games with Melview FC taking on Killoe Celtic on Abbeycartron’s top pitch, while in Lanesboro, Ballyboro face Gaels United.
In the Under 15 League Major Division on Saturday, there are two games on the Shane Brennan Memorial Pitch in Abbeycartron. First up at 12-30pm, UCL Harps face Mostrim United, while at 2pm, Stonepark will be up against Ardagh United.
To Sunday’s fixtures next, and there are games in the under 12, under 14 and the under 17 leagues. In the Under 12 League Major Division, there are two games on the top pitch in Abbeycartron as Stonepark take on Mostrim United at 11am, while at 12-30pm, Melview FC will be up against Ballymahon Lions. Also in the Major Division, Kenagh United host UCL Tigers in Kenagh at half past twelve and Newtown FC host Inny FC at 11am.
In the Under 12 League Premier Division Shield on Sunday, Castlepollard Celtic are at home to UCL Eagles at 11am, and Ardagh United host Ballymahon tigers at the same time, and the Ballyboro derby between the Lions and the Tigers kicks-off at 11am in Lanesboro. The final two games get underway at 12-30pm with Gaels United hosting Mullingar Academy in Drumlish, and Killoe Celtic at home to Abbey Rovers in Cullyfad.
In the Under 14 League Major Division on Sunday, there are four games kicking-off at half past twelve. Castlepollard Celtic host Stonepark, Newtown AFC are at home to Spartak, Killoe Celtic have home advantage against UCL Harps in Cullyfad, and Ardagh United host Abbey Rovers.
Finally in the Under 17 League Major Division on Sunday, Castlepollard Celtic host UCL Harps at 2pm, and at the same time Kenagh United are at home to Killoe Celtic.
