Longford AC’s Adrianna Melia sealed the Connacht senior cross country league after winning round three on Saturday in Roscommon.
Melia had a 100% win record over the three rounds of the league while Carrick on Shannon’s Michelle Lannon took third place in Sunday’s third round.
The league itself was won outright by Adrianna Melia of Longford with four points to spare on North Sligo’s Sarah Healy.
The Longford woman has previously landed the 2015 national novice bronze medal.
North Sligo’s Feidhlim McGowan won the men’s championship with Longford’s Barry Sheil collecting league bronze.
There were also medals for Carrick-on-Shannon’s Suzanne O’Brien who took silver in the novice ladies and gold for Michelle Lannon in the maters ladies. Declan Newman took bronze in the novice men’s.
