With the county football team not playing this weekend attention will be fully focused on round two of the Shield this Sunday where Allen Gaels and Kiltubrid will be two of the teams looking to make it two wins from two while Ballinaglera and Bornacool will look to bounce from their opening round defeats.
There are two games in group one, Ballinaglera welcome Melvin Gaels while Allen Gaels take on St.Patricks who will be playing their first game of the shield.
In group two Glencar travel to Kiltubrid to get their campaign started.
Gortletteragh make the trip to Cloone in division three and in division four County Champions Aughawillan face Bornacoola.
All games throw in at 12pm.
