Leitrim staged a comeback against Laois in the second round of Allianz division four games, but it purely put respectability on the score-line.

Laois were always in control and eventually led 1-7 to five points at the break. However Laois were always on top in the second half
Gary Walsh twice shot over the bar in the opening five minutes of the second half, before Eoin Lowry sent a penalty into the net.
Laois kept their foot on the throttle, and Gary Walsh scored a brilliant point from the right wing before Evan O’Carroll cut in from the left wing before fisting over.
Brendan Gallagher responded with a point before Laois hit back via a third goal from Gary Walsh for their third goal.
Leitrim found the net via Darragh Rooney palming the ball home and then slotting home a penalty with Ryan O’Rourke adding a goal.
In reality the score-line flattered Leitrim.
