Leinster edge past Exeter

Leinster are another step closer to the quarter-finals of the European Champions Cup after a brilliant comeback victory over the Exeter Chiefs at the Aviva Stadium.

Leo Cullen’s side came from 17-3 down after half an hour to score 19 unanswered points and claim a 22-17 win.

Their only try came from Luke McGrath in the second half, while Isa Nacewa slotted over 5 penalties.

Nacewa was handed kicking duties after both Jonathan Sexton and his replacement Ross Byrne went off for head injury assessments, with Sexton not returning to the field.

Cian Healy and Scott Fardy were also shown yellow cards in seperate stages of a tough opening 40 minutes.
