McGee: The problem started by moving the All-Ireland final to August

The bad weather has played havoc with the sporting calendar know-where more so than the GAA fixtures.

All 33 Allianz national football and hurling fixtures for the week-ending March fourth were postponed, with the GAA penciling the re-fixtures for the proposed free weekend of March 11th.

There is however some confusion around the re-fixture date of London v Leitrim as London are set to host Laois this Sunday.


All-Ireland winning manager Eugene McGee, believes the potential GAA fixture calendar nightmare was started with moving the All-Ireland football final to August.
