Bray Wanderers’ entire playing staff have announced that they are placing themselves on the transfer list with immediate effect. They have released a statement through the PFAI, claiming that they are currently without job security due to the ongoing financial difficulties at the club.
The players say they have yet to receive guarantees that their contracts will be honoured unti the end of the season, despite the announcement of a recent investment at the club.
As the transfer window closes on July 31st, the players say “they must be afforded the opportunity to gain secure employment elsewhere”.
The Football Association of Ireland say they’re continuing to assist and are ‘encouraged’ by an update of a potential investor being lined up by the club.
