Warning issued to local clubs and groups that their defibrillator may need urgent update

The Health Products Regulatory Authority has issued a warning over outdated defibrillators.

It’s estimated that around 600 AED cardiac devices across Ireland may not work properly in an emergency.

Some models of the life saving equipment, often located in supermarkets, GAA clubs and shops, require urgent safety updates.
