The solicitor representing Sandra Cullivan whose baby son died at Mullingar hospital , says she wants to see a mandatory duty of disclosure to patients.
Sandra’s baby son Stevie died two days after his birth in Mullingar in April of 2015.
A verdict of medical misadventure was returned at the inquest into his death and it was found he suffered a lack of oxygen to the brain shortly before birth.
Sandra hired a legal team to find out exactly what had happened during the birth, and solicitor Roger Murray says their report was very difficult for her to read.
Speaking on Let’s Talk today, Mr Murray says Sandra Cullivan’s main wish is for people to be given the medical information to which they are fully entitled.
