Three people who were organ donors died at Portiuncula hospital last year according to new figures from the Irish Kidney Association.
According to figures released as part of an awareness campaign, a total of 113 patients are receiving dialysis treatment at the Midlands Regional hospital in Tullamore at the end of last year.
46 people were receiving dialysis treatment at Sligo university hospital also at the end of last year.

Nationally 298 organ transplants took place last year, up 12 per cent on figures for 2015.
