A special promotion allowing children to travel for free on several local link bus routes in the Shannonside region is continuing until next week.
Dozens of communities across Longford, Roscommon and Leitrim avail of local link bus services every week, with the cost subsidised by the government.
The ‘Kids go Free’ promotion has been running since last week and allows all children and young people up to 19 years of age to travel for free until next Sunday.
