Roscommon Rose enjoying whirlwind tour in Tralee

The Roscommon Rose says she’s having so much fun on the Rose of Tralee whirlwind tour across the country her voice is nearly gone!

Deirdre Cribbin, 27, who grew up at Castleplunkett village, is a primary-school teacher and an active member of Roscommon civil defence.

The 64 contestants who represent Irish communities from across the world spent the day in Kenmare today and will return to Tralee tonight for the celebration of the roses.
