Roscommon IFA chairman calls on political pressure to force help for fodder stricken farmers

Roscommon IFA Chaman John Hanley is calling on local politicians to put more pressure on Agriculture Minister Michael Creed to put a plan in place to help farmers with little fodder.

John Hanley says they met with Minister Creed yesterday who has now agreed to put in place a fodder action group in the next week or so.

The group will be made up of representatives from the Department, Co-Op’s, feed mills and the Irish Farmers Association, but speaking on Lets Talk today the Roscommon IFA Chairman says the pressure must be sustained in order to get real action and help for farmers…
