Residents in Roscommon are to be given the chance to get rid of some potentially dangerous household waste tomorrow.
Items that people can dispose of free of charge at Roscommon Civic Amenity Site tomorrow include medicinal waste, pesticides, herbicides, anti-freeze, adhesives, paints and varnishes.
The items to be disposed of must be in their original containers and people can bring them to the centre tomorrow between 10 o’clock in the morning and four o’ clock in the afternoon.

The Hazardous Waste Drop Off Day is financed by the Department of the Environment, and supported by Roscommon County Council and the Connacht Ulster Regional Waste Management Office.
