Roscommon cyclists begin Rooskey to London Bridge challenge

A group of cyclists from Roscommon have completed the first leg of their journey from Rooskey Bridge to London Bridge.

Seven men from the Rooskey, Slatta and Kilglass area have completed 6 hours and 144kms on their bikes today on their way to Dublin Airport, from where they will fly to Liverpool for stage 2 of their trek to London.

They plan to arrive there on Friday.

Cyclist Niall Kilcrann told Let’s Talk that they hope to raise money for sick children and their families from across Roscommon, Leitrim and Longford who need support.
