On Let’s Talk today, a multiple sclerosis suffer in west Roscommon came out strongly in favour of proposals to allow cannabis to be used for medicinal reasons.
People before Profit TD Gino Kenny’s Bill to that effect is set to be debated in the Dáil on November 9 and it’ll be voted on a week later.
The Bill passed first and second stages of the Dáil last December, but the Oireachtas health committee has since raised concerns about the legislation, on legal grounds.
