One man continues to be questioned at Roscommon Garda station in connection with a stabbing incident in the town last month.
Gardai yesterday were questioning two men, arrested earlier this week in connection with the incident in which a man in his 20 received serious injuries on August 30th at a car park off Castle Street.
One man in his 40s, arrested on Tuesday in Ballinasloe, was last night released without charge and a file is to be prepared for the DPP.

The other man, also in his 40s and who was arrested in Athlone yesterday, remains in custody following his arrest under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Roscommon Garda Station.
