A suicide bereavement officer working in Co Roscommon says she would prefer if inquests into deaths from suicide could be held in private.
Tiffany Walsh works with the Roscommon Suicide Bereavement Liaisons Service from Vita House in Roscommon Town and the Family Resource Centre in Boyle.
The service offers support and help to individuals, families and communities following a suicide.

Speaking on the Let’s Talk programme this week Tiffany Walsh says the grief felt by families in the aftermath of suicide can be especially hard to cope with, and the fact that inquests are held in open court can be very traumatic.
She was speaking to Anne Norris about what the service can offer to people and how it can help them.
