An historic building in Ballaghaderreen is for sale and will be auctioned next month.
St Mary’s Convent at Friarshill is a protected structure, originally built in 1876 for the Sisters of Charity and later occupied by the Sisters of Mercy.
The Gothic Revival convent complex is a two-storey building, with a chapel and gate lodge, set on 1.3 acres.

The main building, measuring more than 7,000 square feet, has been unoccupied for the past 20 years and is need of restoration.
Roscommon auctioneers Property Partners Earley are selling it, and it’ll be feature in an online auction on June 6th.
