KFC in Roscommon placed on property market

The KFC restaurant in Roscommon town has been placed on the property market because the eatery is to close this summer.

The American fast-food group has had a store in the Centrepoint Retail Park for several years, but it is now advertising the 3,000-square-foot building for lease.

Local auctioneer Sherry Fitzgerald P Burke, acting for KFC, is seeking €2,000 per month for the premises.

P Burke says he has received several offers and expects the building will be available from June or July.

KFC has not yet responded to requests for comment, while Mr Burke says it’s a very attractive premises.
