The IDA has made just 36 site visits to the Shannonside region between 2015 to the end of the first quarter of 2017, with Roscommon receiving just four visits in the period.
Fourteen sites in Longford were visited by the IDA, while Leitrim fared a little better, with 18 visits.
In contrast, Dublin received 681 visits from the IDA or over 44 per cent of the overall total.

The IDA has committed to increasing foreign direct investment to the regions by 30 to 40 per cent by 2019.
However, Fianna Fáil TD for Roscommon-Galway Eugene Murphy said the claim the government is bringing investment to regional Ireland is nothing more than empty promises.
